Red skies in the morning

Today I saw the sun rise. I'm usually not up to see it but this morning Dave woke me up because he couldn't sleep and wanted me to get up and make him coffee. *harumph* Normally I would have told him to make his own damn coffee, but I saw pink coming in through the cabin windows of Anegada so I grabbed my camera and poked my head out of the companionway, and this is what I was treated to.

Now I am very familiar with the old saying "Red skies at night, sailors delight. Red skies in the morning, sailors take warning.", so I knew this meant rain was coming. I turned around to check the western sky and much to my surprise there was a whole rainbow!

I remember thinking 'there must be some moisture up there' and that is when the first raindrop hit my skin. And it's been raining ever since.
