Sometimes you've just gotta run

Last night I was sitting in the living room knitting and watching Starsky and Hutch on tv. During a commercial I got up to get something to drink and saw that my new BFF deer were visiting. I love it when they stop by just as long as they don't eat the shrubs.

Although this one was a little rude.


All of a sudden one deer cut loose for no apparent reason and started running around. I mean seriously running around. She just kept going and it occurred to me that my camera has video capabilities, so I switched it over to record. This is the third video I shot and as you can see, she was still going full-force. The other deer just stared at her like she had lost her mind.


I guess sometimes you've just gotta run.

In other news, Dave's youth hockey tournaments began this weekend so I haven't really seen him since Friday morning. This is the first of 3 tournament weekends and I had planned to accomplish a lot while he was gone, but all I'm doing is knitting and web-surfing. I'd love to have this bag knitted, felted, and dried by Friday but I'm not sure if it's going to happen. It's hard to knit, read, and scroll through posts at the same time and Ravelry is so addictive!!!
