Sticks 'N Stitches

Dave and I went to Sticks 'N Stitches last night and we had a lot of fun. We started the evening off with a glass of wine and a wonderful salmon dinner (followed by key lime pie) at The Fish Market. YUM!

When we arrived at the arena we checked in with with the group and received the most amazing goodie bags ever and raffle tickets for door prizes that were to be drawn later on. We found our seats, waaay up in almost the tippy-top row, but the view of the ice is good no matter where you sit.

During the second intermission Dave went down to check our raffle tickets and came back with a YarnMarket tote and an autographed copy of Get Hooked Again by Kim Werker. He is always lucky! The book is geared toward teens but there are a few cute patterns in it, and the Gidget Bucket Hat pattern is calling my name so I may need to dust off my hooks.

The game wasn't all that spectacular and the Jackets lost, but there was good conversation and much knitting going on so it was just fun to be there. I met some new people and made new friends, and I hope to see them again someday.
