Shadows on snow
It amuses me how the shadows look blue. Well, at least they do in person. It's quiet outside. A crisp 10*. And the snow is pristine. The deer haven't been around in 3 days. I wonder where they are? There's a heard of 9 that come through several times a day, but I haven't seen them since the snow & freezing rain began. Just a few rabbit tracks in the back yard where Mr. Nibbles has ventured out from his home beneath the spruce tree.

The deer would be huddled, staying low protected against the elements. It is actually difficult for them to walk on snow and ice because of their narrow legs and pointed hooves.
