Poinsettias are overrated

A few weeks ago I was telling my friend Nancy how my husband always brought home huge poinsettias from his office a few days before Christmas. This year he moved to a new office building and I commented that I would miss having flowers over the holidays. Now, thanks to friends & co-workers, our house looks like a flourist's shop.









Dave is doing well and feeling stronger each day, but he's extremely bored. We butted heads yesterday when he insisted I drive him to the bank and then the ice rink in -10 degree windchills. I refused. Several times. I don't know how much his secretary gets paid, but whatever it is, it isn't enough!!!
