The Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival 2009

It was rainy and I didn't buy very much, but I met a lot of great people so it was totally worth it!

My newly-engaged friend Erin was there (Congratulations!) and I was thrilled that I finally got to meet my internet friend Cici! I ran into LickMySticks at the Ravelry meetup and found Casey so I could thank him and tell him how much he rocks.

There was a Martha's Vineyard & Hudson Valley Fiber Farm meetup which I attended (since I am a new stockholder - yay!) and there I met Susie and Erin from the fiber farm as well as fellow stockholders Waterbeetle, ACraftyLawyer, and a bunch of other people that I can't remember at the moment.

I also met Amy from Knitty (who gave me an "I speak Knitty" pin!) and JennnieThePotter, who I bought a cute necklace from.

My total haul consisted of the pottery necklace, 4 oz of spinning fiber, and 5 bars of goat's milk soap. But meeting up with my fellow Ravelers was way more fun than shopping! Honest!
