Feeling accomplished

I worked frantically the past two day to finish my bag so it would be ready for today's class. Part of me didn't think I could do it in such a short amount of time, but another part of me felt as though I must do it because deep down I knew that if I was determined and put in the effort, I could. When I went to bed last night at 11, this is what I had:

1 bag, 1 strap, and a small portion of a 2nd strap
I still needed to weave in all the loose ends, finish second strap, sew straps to the bag, sew bottom of bag together, and sew corners of bag to make a square bottom. When I went to bed I didn't think I had enough time to finish it all.

I was supposed to leave for class at noon, but left 15 minutes late because I had completed what I thought I would not...

I sped all the way to class and when I left an hour later, I had this:

Those are 10" #13 needles for size reference. It's sopping wet and for the next few days will be drying out on the dining room table. (It's a good thing we don't use it!) Nutmeg had to check it out.

She's pretty nosy. I hope she leaves it alone.

Anyway, I'm feeling very accomplished at the moment and now I can play with that mohair! Woo-hoo!
