Lilacs bloom

I wanted these so badly, and now that I have them indoors they are making my head stuffy. Darn allergies! I've never been bothered by lilacs before and these are so tiny that you wouldn't think they could bother anyone! Here's the wee little bunch I brought in, with my sheepy tape measure there for size.

Even so, they smell wonderful.

And here's a pic from a few days ago. I was taking some random photo and this bee flew into the corner of the shot. I love these big ones. So terrifying (when they buzz past your head) yet so gentle.


I've been working on updating the look of the blog to make it less generic and more Me. Just today I figured out how to add those progress bars. Yay! Oh, and if you're wondering, Annabelle is my iPod. :-)

P.S. I just noticed that my progress bars match my Buttonhole Bag, and I didn't even plan it!
