If I don't stop it, I'll go blind.

These neon color combos are blinding! *wink*

These dishcloths are really fun to make but they are hard on the hands. I found that if I knit a lot on them in the evening, I wake with sore hands & wrists. The cotton yarn is unyielding and even though I tried to knit these loosely, they still made my hands sore. So once I finish the pink & yellow one, that will be the end of the dishcloths for a while.

On Sunday, Mother's Day, I was given control of the remote and while scrolling through the high channels on digital cable (the ones I didn't even know we got until I had to list them for that Nielson thing) I found a show called Treasure Island Extreme on Fox Reality. It was a marathon so they showed every episode back to back, and I happened to catch it at the start of the first episode. This is a New Zealand show similar to Survivor, but the castaways were military survival specialists, and it was extreme! I got so involved that I watched the entire series!!! And it was incredible! I lost interest in Survivor this season, in fact, I never even started watching it, but if they were to change it up and make it more like Treasure Island Extreme, I would definitely watch. Man, what a show!

And speaking of good shows, I'm downloading the latest LOST Podcast as I type. There was so much info in the last show that I went to ABC and watched it again the next day. This is a great feature and allows you to pause and backtrack to watch sections again, which you sometimes need to do with LOST. Can't do that with my VCR. (Prehistoric, I know.) What is it about these types of shows that intrigue me so much? Is it the sense of adventure? Being stranded on a tropical island and having to survive? The conflicts between people when they are put into extreme circumstances? I wonder what my taste in TV says about me. What do you watch?
