Do-dads & junk

It's 32* and snowing. Two days ago it was bright and sunny and 80*. All of my daffodils died overnight and the tulips are were about to bloom. I hope they survive. My allergies are the worst they've been in years. I've already broken out the Zyrtec and homeopathic concoctions. Achoo! Achoo! Sniff. *ugh*

I wish I knew someone who was also a LOST addict so we could hash out every episode. This season is the best ever, with lots of twists and turns. Is it wrong that I think John Locke is sexy? Dang!

Not much knitting going on lately; none the past few days. Just a few felted do-dads

and a couple of chicks.

I bought Barbara Walker's Mosaic Knitting book and am fascinated by her slipped stitch designs. The do-dad on the right is one of her stitch patterns.

Oh, and I saw somewhere on the web where this guy/girl had taken shots of people's junk drawers and posted them as a collection. I thought it was cool, so here's the inside of my junk drawer. I left it big so if you clickety-click you can snoop around in there. Can you find the keys to my Midget?

Hint: they're on the Mr. Zogs key chain. What's in your junk drawer?

The Best For Your Stick har-har.

Actually it's surfboard wax which is used to make the top of your surfboard sticky so you don't slip off. They also make hockey stick wax, used to keep the blade tacky so it can better grab the puck.
