Lettuce: day 5

The smallest and the largest sprouts in the AeroGarden.


Nutmeg hasn't paid any attention to these but they are still covered by their protective little domes. When the domes come off will she find them and chew off all those cute little leaves? I hope not!

I finished all the vacation laundry and have nearly everything put away (masks & snorkels, duffel bags, summer clothes, etc.) but am still sorting through the photos to print. I haven't touched my knitting or spinning since before Christmas. I'm feeling a little foggy but I think it's because of the lack of sunshine. After 2 full weeks of it coming home to nothing but gray skies is quiet a shock to the system. Dave caught a nasty cold but went on his pheasant hunting trip today anyway. It's 24* with a windchill of 12* and looks like it wants to snow. Yikes!
