Lettuce: day 1

No sign of life yet, but don't the seeds look cozy in their tiny little greenhouses?

This thing really is ingenious. The seeds are pre-planted in foam in individual cups and warm water constantly trickles through the foam warming and irrigating the seeds.

I'm sure they're happy in there. I would be if I lived my entire life in a whirlpool bath.
