Now I get it

I've always wondered why spinners rave about Bluefaced Leicester and now it makes perfect sense.

It took me a while to get used to the fiber's long staple, but once I adjusted my drafting zone it spun so smoothly that I didn't want to quit. I spun and plied all 4 ounces in one afternoon.

Approximately 110 yards of BFL from Spunky Eclectic in the 'Autumn Girls' colorway. I think I'm in love.

It is beautiful! But, where does the color come from?

This roving was hand-dyed by Amy at Spunky Eclectic. ;-)
