Bottom paint

Dave and I went to the lake this weekend. He worked on the boat and I spend the day with my parents. He sanded & painted the bottom, waxed the sides, and got everything ready so we can launch next week.


We ran into a few friends and caught up on things like who bought a new boat and who has sold theirs. Everyone is anxious to get the season started. Since I'm the Dock Captain of 3 docks again this year, I'll need to confirm everyone's email address so I can keep my dockmates informed of yacht club activities. I'll also plan a little dock party soon. I think a wine tasting might be fun.

When I got home from the lake I added water to the AeroGarden and that's when I discovered the tomato babies!


I'm really excited! I can hardly wait to taste my first homegrown tomato! And if Nutmeg (my salsa eating kitty) knows what's good for her, she'll stay away from them!
