Felting disaster

Sometimes things don't go exactly as planned. Remember this bag?


I finished it last night. Over a week's worth of knitting.


I felted it today and it twisted into a crooked mess.


So I cut off the handles & rim and now it is a basket.


A hairy basket. It's so fuzzy I'll probably need to shave it. But it's still wet so I can't say for sure.

Details: French Market Bag pattern, 5 skeins of Patons SWS yarn, and US #10 needles.

Note to self: don't buy buy SWS ever again (no matter how pretty the colors are)
