Fibery goodness

My friend Judi and I drove to the Miami County Fairgrounds today for the Upper Valley Fiber Festival. We had a great time! One of our missions was to meet Dianne of Creatively Dyed Yarn. Dianne is sweet & bubbly and greeted each of us with a hug like we were old friends. We loved her immediately. And her booth was breathtakingly gorgeous! Each skein is truly a work of art, so it took us forever to decide what to buy. Here's everything I came home with.

Creatively Dyed merino top roving, Creatively Dyed merino sock yarn, two soaps from Woodspirits Ltd., and Crosspatch Creations signature blend batts (wool, bombyx silk, viscose, cut bombyx silk, and silk noil)

The Biscotti soap smells just like black licorice and it smells so good I want to lick it! The Woodspirits gal also gave me 4 samples of their lotion and two handfuls of bath salt samples. I'm going to try the bath salts when I soak my foot tonight. In fact, I'm going to go do that right now (because it will keep me from actually licking the licorice-scented soap). Bye!
