My whole house smells like lilacs

I finally went out to cut some lilacs. This bush is the miniature kind. It was originally planted right next to the house but got too overgrown and had to be removed. Instead of throwing it away we planted it in another part of the yard, and last year it didn't look too good, but now it's thriving. The flowers may be tiny, but they pack a powerful punch! I love the smell of lilacs!

I have this shot set as my current wallpaper. You can use it too, if you'd like.

This interesting little toadstool was under the lilac bush.

I walked around to the front of the house to check on the mourning dove. See that dark little square where the different roof angles come together? That's where the twig nest is. Shady, great view, and blocked from the wind and rain. Nice choice, Mama Bird!

No sign of Sweet Baby James yet, but it shouldn't be much longer.
