Dewar's Cup Race
Our annual Dewar's Cup sailboat race was held this morning and lucky for us there was plenty of wind. John, who usually crews with us, didn't come up for the weekend so it was just Dave and me. Our yacht club uses a staggared start based on boat handicaps, so technically everyone should cross the finish line at the same time.
Pooka beat us by about 10 seconds so we came in second overall, but first in our division. Woo-hoo! It feels good to be a winner!

Thank you! My husband just informed me that we also won a bottle of Dewars scotch. I have no idea what we'll do with it since neither of us can stand to drink scotch...
