Two Words and Some

It's MEME time! I saw this on 2 Sistahs Knit Together and thought it would be fun to play along. Here's what you do:

I am: turning 50 this year!
I think: that it’s time for me to learn to play golf
I know: that when I put out positive energy it comes back to me
I have: a happier life than I ever imagined
I wish: I had grandbabies to spoil
I hate: when my husband sneaks cigarettes

I miss: my Grandma & Grandpa and my Mother-in-Law, my first cat Zachary (who loved the boys all better than he liked me), and driving my ‘74 MG Midget (which hasn’t run in nearly 2 years)
I fear: That my computer will die before I’ve had a chance to back up my knitting patterns, photos, and iTunes (in that order)
I hear: every little sound, especially at night when the house is quiet. They don’t scare me but they do keep me awake sometimes.
I smell: clean laundry; specifically vanilla & lavender Downy (my computer is in my laundry room)
I crave: Ben & Jerry’s Coffee Heath Bar Crunch, but only because I know there’s some in the freezer
I search: Ravelry for new knitting patterns - all - the - time
I wonder: what my life will be like 5 years from now. 10. 20. 50.
I regret: that I didn’t get to know my husband’s father better before he died
I love: my life, my family, my friends, being in good health, all animals, knitting, sailing, snorkeling, fresh peaches, and Ketel One Citroen vodka
I ache: the next morning when I overdo it on the dance floor
I am not: going to grow up. And you can’t make me. Neener-neener!
I believe: that helping others makes you a better person
I dance: when I am happy, whether I’m alone in my kitchen or out to dinner with my husband
I sing: in the car (always), in the kitchen (sometimes), and in the shower (occasionally)
I cry: when my friends & I laugh so hard
I fight: with my kitty Nutmeg when she wants me to get up at 6:30 a.m. and I’d rather sleep another hour (She paws the bed till she wakes me up then bites me in the hand. I yell at her, then roll over and ignore her. So I win. Heh.)
I win: when I choose to be happy
I lose: when I let anger get the best of me
I never: misplace things
I always: say please and thank you. Always.
I confuse: names. I always remember faces but have a hard time remembering names
I listen: to audiobooks, podcasts, and many types of music, but lately I’ve been listen to Duffy’s Rockferry album over & over (usually skipping the first and last songs)
I can usually be found: at home, either on the computer, knitting, or listening to audio books while I clean the house
I am scared: that my husband will get lung cancer like his father and sister did
I need: to get my car’s oil changed, get my butt back on the treadmill, and spend less time on the computer (Hi Ravelry!)
I am happy about: 98% of the time
I imagine: what it will be like to have grandchildren and fantasize about taking them to the zoo and watching their eyes light up when they see the elephants
