Sleepy Sunday

I've been up for hours but for some reason I can't wake up. I've had several cups of coffee and I'm starting to think it's allergies. I hate to break out the Zyrtec 'cause it knocks me out by 5, but all the other allergy meds make my heart race and give me insomnia. I keep telling myself I'm not an allergy sufferer, but myself isn't listening. She knows better. Time for a big glass of iced tea.

I finished my second Booga Bag, and this one turned out better than the first.

The colors are amazing, and remind me of a pink-streaked sunset sky over rippling blue water. This bag is much firmer than the first because of the way I felted it. I read somewhere that yarns like Kureyon felt firmer if you periodically dunk them in ice-water. So I felted for 15 minutes, then dunked in ice-water, then put it back in the hot water of the washer. It only took 45 minutes this way as opposed to the 65 minutes I felted my other Booga, and this one is much firmer. LOVE the way it turned out!

I also made a sock/cozy for Annabelle. This was a spur of the moment thing after the belt clip on my iSkin broke and she went crashing to the driveway. I used the neon purple acrylic I had left over from my Hallowig (which I have not shown you but will, when the time is right. he-he).

I'm still waiting to hear from iSkin on whether they will replace the clip for free.

And while we're talking knitting, here's where I am on my Kureyon Cardi.

One ball down, 7 or 8 to go!

While I'm telling all, I might as well share my new addiction - these sweet, spicy, golden little nuggets of joy.

And the best part is, the boys don't like them so they are mine! All mine!!! Mwahahahaha!!!!! oh.

The Booga is beautiful. Annabelle probably feels safer now. The cardi is gorgeous. I may side with the boys on the ginger. Ha-ha.

You have to take your Zyrtec at night! That will help you sleep better, too.... Plus, my allergist told me to take one every day to get the full benefit from it.

Awesome knitting, sissy!!!

Wake up Sleepy-Do!
I love the boogie-bag and the cozy sock. The sweater is 'materializing' nicely.
Ginger Candy? Sounds too healthy.
I love seeing your work in progress.
