Good Hair Day

Here are the photos I promised. My One Skein Wonder turned out great!

(as always, click for big)

Cute, eh? That Glampyre knows what she's doing! This was fun and would have been quick to knit had I not procrastinated on picking up the stitches for the edging! For this I used 2 skeins of Kathmandu Aran, a merino-silk-cashmere blend, in color #30. Too bad it's 90* outside or I would have worn it all day.

I just found out that my favorite yarn shop
is moving, but only a couple blocks down the road. Their current location is pretty small and this will allow them more space for yarn, looms, yarn, spinning wheels, yarn, classes, and of course, more yarn. So for the rest of this month they're having a Moving Sale. I went this afternoon and got a great deal on some discontinued Mission Falls 1824 cotton. See?

The 3 pinks are already on their way to become another One Skein Wonder. :-)
