Felted entrelac bags

Now that the gifts have been given, I can show what I've made. I'm really happy with the way these turned out. They felted nice and flat with very little twisting.

The one on the left is mine, the middle one went to Mom for Mother's Day, and the blue one went to my sister Amy for her birthday.

I'm thinking of making another one with the yarn I have left over from these. I'll probably modify the pattern some and try to add a flap or some other sort of closure. I like the entrelac process and the way it looks when felted. It's something I would definitely do again.

Pattern: Three Bags Fulled, knit in Medium size using Lamb's Pride worsted weight yarn
