Sailorly things

We spent another weekend on the boat but still haven't gotten to go sailing. The weather was cold and rainy and the lake was rough, so we did odd jobs and got things ship-shape. But enough with the cold already! I'd like to put in a request to Mother Nature for next weekend. Make it warm and nice for sailing, would ya? Pretty please?

I happened to spot venus in the sky on Saturday night.

The boys weren't convinced I knew what I was talking about, but I just Googled it and came up with an article about the viewing.

And here are Sig and Hiram. They got moved to a new location and I think they like it better up here. Kinda makes it look like they're standing on the rail of the Northwestern.
