Handspun leaves

My fourth skein of handspun is done. It seemed to take forever, but the 100% merino roving was very nice to work with. I wound up with 140 yards of two-ply, which means I spun 280 yards of singles + 140 yards of plying = 420 yards worth of spinning. No wonder it took so long! I can't believe I got this much yarn out of 4oz of roving!

The colors seemed soft and muted at first, but every single one of them can be found in this bush.
