A day at the zoo

Nelson, Chelsea & I went to The Columbus Zoo yesterday. I love the zoo but haven't been there in at least 6 years, so I was thrilled when they invited me to go. Of course someone had to drive and that someone was me. But I didn't care 'cause I was going to the ZOO! (Click any photo to enlarge it.)

This kangaroo was sleeping along the path. I could have reached down & petted him but I was afraid he'd kick my ass.

Why do the orangutans always look grumpy?
Well, the one on the left looks rather mischevious, but the one on the right... Grumpy!
If I would have been a second slower on the shutter I would have captured the cloud of dust this elephant blew all over her back... but I missed it.

It's the year of the frog!
I wore these two out. They slept in the car on the way home, then crashed in the living room for an additional hour and a half afterwards. I would have stayed at the zoo another hour or two if they had wanted to. And I am older than both their ages combined! LOL!!!
