Say cheese!

I'm feeling rather proud of myself tonight because I actually made fresh mozzarella cheese. I used this recipe which is straightforward & easy and took less than 30 minutes start to finish.

Two of the balls went into a simple summer salad of mozzarella, tomatoes, & cucumbers with Italian dressing.


The cheese-making ingredients cost $10 (because I bought $6 organic milk) and the cheese is fantastic. Plus it was so fun (think 'play-dough') that I can hardly wait to make more!
